Automating VDI Tasks, the Story of the Life of a VDI Admin | VMware EUC
Are you being faced with a huge amount of work and no time to get it done? I took on the concept of removing the daily tasks from my work plate and letting the machines do the work for me. The story of how I have automated the monthly patch cycle for Horizon clone master images. The process includes installing Windows and 3rd party updates using SCCM API calls and PowerShell scripts, running a cleanup script, taking snapshots and Refresh or Recompose the pools with PowerCLI and API calls. A look into the challenges I faced along the way and how it saved the company thousands of man-hours a year. And have increased the capacity to refresh pools more often and with more consistency. Telling the story of how this process has made me more productive, ability to better my skill set, and further my career goals.

Workforce Transformation with Workspace One | VMware EUC
As technology transforms the world, it is also transforming the way we work. Work is no longer a destination, it’s an activity. Workers want the choice to stay connected and be productive where, when and however they need. They also have a stronger point of view on technology. To successfully navigate this workforce transformation, you need to consider both end user needs and IT needs. Organizations also have to look at upgrading how they manage, support and secure their PCs, and find more efficient, effective solutions to meet the needs of this emerging workforce. In this session, let us explain how Workforce Transformation can work for you and your organizations end-user requirements.

Closing Keynote | Security As I See It - IT’s next big challenge | VMware
On-Premises, Cloud, Edge, etc.. The world of IT moves at a rapid pace. Does security? Rarely. The role of security is moving closer and closer to compliance and scanning while IT is becoming the actual architect and implementor of security across the enterprise. With the growing complexity of On-Prem, Cloud and Edge, only IT can fully understand the impact of security on all of these components. This keynote will talk about how IT and security can learn from the past and move "security at scale" forward. We will discuss the upcoming opportunities for IT architects to incorporate and embrace security as part of their career path.
