N-S or E-W, A Navigational Guide through the Micro-segmentation Lifecycle | VMware | EMERGING
Micro-segmentation is a term that means many different things to our security and network customers and across the industry. However, the output and/or end goal is that same, to ensure verified and controlled network accessibility within the data center. It can be a long road to ensure security policies are accurately applied and we would like to share stories and experiences from customers as they start to understand, create, modify, and apply zero-trust security. We will talk about how involved this process is and which / what VMware technologies can be part of this process to automate and streamline it. We will also talk about how to provide reporting and on-going tasks to maintain micro-segmentation health.

Fun with vCenters and Platform Services Controllers (PSC) | VMware | CORE
Starting with vSphere 6.0, the External Platform Services Controller (PSC) an architectural model that provided some great benefits, and some additional complexity. However, starting with vSphere 6.7 Update 2, the External PSC model is officially deprecated and will not be an option in the next major version of vSphere. In this session, we are going to run through a number of scenarios that involve redirecting vCenters to a different PSC, moving vCenters to different SSO domains, converge from External PSC to Embedded PSC, and decommissioning PSCs.
